HYPE Returns to Inflows as ETFs Attract Fresh Capital
Crypto Insight Summary: Hyperliquid's HYPE token has returned to positive net inflows after a period of outflows, driven by renewed interest in its exchange-traded funds. Canary Capital recently filed an S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a spot HYPE ETF, joining several other issuers pursuing similar products. The filing includes a provision for staking within the fund structure. Other firms with pending HYPE ETF applications include REX Shares, 21Shares, Bitwise, and Grayscale. According to DefiLlama data, spot HYPE ETFs collectively hold approximately $422 million in assets. HYPE has declined more than 70% from its September 2025 peak, with much of the drawdown occurring during the late 2025 sell-off. Despite the return of inflows, the token remains significantly below its all-time high, and the broader altcoin ETF landscape continues to expand as issuers seek regulatory approval for new products. Crypto Insight Analysis: Direction: Bullish HYPE Impact: Minor Impact Horizon: Mid-term (1-8 weeks) Reasoning: ETF inflows signal institutional interest, but broader market conditions may limit upside.
